The library subscribes to several databases that may contain the full text of theses and dissertations from Biola and other schools. From the main search box on the home page, click on Databases>Databases by Subject>Dissertations/Theses.
Finding Biola Dissertations
To find recent Biola dissertations and theses from your program, we recommend using the database ProQuest Dissertations and Theses.
You will want to take the following steps to find dissertations or theses from your program.
- Under "University/Institution," type "Biola University." (Only Biola University, do not select a department within Biola University)
- In the search box, type your degree.
- In box to the right of the search box, select "Degree - DG"
- If you need to narrow down to a specific timeframe, choose the "Publication Date" option
You can add your topic as a keyword in the other search box if you're interested in finding dissertations on a specific topic.
Some masters theses and doctoral dissertations can only be found in our print collection. They are listed in the Classic Catalog by author, title, and subject. To browse all dissertations done by a particular school within Biola, do a TITLE search and type the degree name and school. For example:
